Why “Bonfire Heart”?
“Bonfire Heart” is the first single from British singer-songwriter James Blunt's album, Moon Landing.
“Bonfire Heart” is about caring for people around us no matter who they are or where they are from. It’s about giving and loving.
I hope this journey will not only spark the bonfire hearts of those children in Shenzhen and Mumbai who will receive the proceeds of charity, but also of all the people I will meet along the way, of all those who will donate, of all those who will support and sponsor my ride, and of my friends and family who will be with me in my heart through 7,000km.
Everybody wants a flame,
They don’t want to get burnt
And today is our turn
Days like these lead to...
Nights like this lead to
Love like ourslight the spark in my bonfire heart.
People like us—we don’t
Need that much, just some-
One that starts,
Starts the spark in our bonfire hearts
This world is getting colder.
Strangers passing by
No one offers you a shoulder.
No one looks you in the eye.
But I’ve been looking at you
For a long, long time
Just trying to break through,
Trying to make you mine
